Seeds4Hope


In the afternoon, we are visiting a project at the intersections of environmental and social action. The project is located at Red Cross’s homeless shelter, where volunteers of Budapest Bike Maffia set up their Seeds4Hope project.

In the framework of the project, volunteers create community gardens in homeless shelters in Budapest. Residents plant, take care of the gardens, and harvest together with the volunteers and share the produces among themselves.
